MY REACTION:  I love this piece.  These flowers don't need no stinking pots!  They are wild flowers.  Maybe they are even weeds?

CONTENT:  These flowers are happy outside.  No matter the weather.  They do not mind getting roughed up in a storm from time to time.  So long as they also get to enjoy the sunny quiet afternoons, too.  And especially those warm breezes!

ARTISTIC CONCERNS:  This is such a lovely piece in person.  I am afraid the scans do not do it justice.  The blues are more subtle in real life.  And this piece has lush organic textures and rich layers of color.  I used a dental tool to scratch in some lines for emphasis, too.  The painting here is purposefully loose and free.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:  This piece is on a gallery stretched canvas.  The painting continues around the staple-free sides.  It can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.  It could also be displayed unframed on a small display easel.  This one also shows well on the wall as it is, unframed.
