MY REACTION:  I am surprisingly attached to this piece.  It is a richly colored and textured little gem.  And that heart inspires me.

CONTENT:  When I view this piece, I see a painting about overcoming, new beginnings, taking off.

ARTISTIC CONCERNS:  These abstract heart pieces are mostly about color and the expressive application of paint and less about conscious content.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:  This piece is on a deep gallery stretched canvas.  The painting continues around the staple-free sides.  It can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.  It could also be displayed unframed on a small display easel.  This one also shows well on the wall as it is, unframed.  Or it can sit on edge on a shelf or dresser or desk.
