The words in this piece read:  I am a porcupine.  What is your excuse?

Bwah ha ha!  This painting makes me laugh.  I just love how that prickly little guy turned out.  Simple and bold and fresh and wild.  So vibrant.  Such a happy playful little painting.

How this painting was created.....   I used brushes and palette knives and my fingers to put this fresh little work of art together.

This piece was created on a gallery stretched canvas primed with black acrylic gesso.  The image continues around the staple-free sides.  This painting may be displayed unframed either directly on the wall or on a decorative display easel.  Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it required no matting or glass.

I am a porcupine.

What is your excuse?
