MY REACTION:  Raccoons make me happy.  As a child, I had a stuffed raccoon named Rackety that got me through a bout of pneumonia.  She was a good friend.  This piece is a lot of fun.  With some colors that are fairly exotic for me.  And a nice strong statement.

CONTENT:  This is for some raccoon person out there.  Someone learning to celebrate their own crafty and resourceful nature.

ARTISTIC CONCERNS:  This is a knife and brush painting.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:  This piece is on a rigid canvas panel.  It can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.  It could also be displayed unframed on a small display easel.
