ABOUT THIS PIECE:  This painting makes me so happy.  It is bright and bold and so charming.  But there is more to it than that, though.  This playful modern piece has some loose raw layered painting.  Very expressive and free.  It also has some fun words, too.  The words read:  I will save you!  The giant leaping red dog of female friendship. 

Because women like to save each other.  And because women can be very loyal and loving.  And because friendships among women can take a lot of careful handling just like female dogs do.

HOW IT WAS MADE:  I used palette knives and my fingers to create most of this gorgeous expressive piece.  I used a brush to add the words and paint her eye.

DISPLAY OPTIONS:  This piece could be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.  Or it would also display nicely sitting on a small decorative easel or stand just as it is, no framing needed.  I have also shown similar pieces by simply leaning them against the wall while they rest on a dresser or shelf or chair rail.
