In my world, God lives in the trees.  And the birds.  And the buffalo.

I am not religious and often shy away from words that imply religion, but I sometimes feel compelled to create certain pieces and this is one of those.  A beautiful hopeful warm image of growth and balance and the peace that can only be found in nature.  A strong young tree in soft light.  That path leading you up the hill for a visit.  All the surprising bits of color.  A quiet place for you to rest your eyes and your mind.  Leave your worries.  Enjoy the day.

How this painting was created.....   I used brushes and palette knives to create this lush layered piece.

This piece was created on a gallery stretched canvas primed with black acrylic gesso.  The image continues around the staple-free sides.  This painting may be displayed unframed either directly on the wall or on a decorative display easel.  Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it required no matting or glass.

God lives here.
