Secrets

I have boxed up all my secrets and sent them on their way to you. The package has traveled a long ways. It may have been lost a few times along the route. It has been a complicated journey and the box is a bit worse for wear. But the secrets are still fresh and vibrant. I hope you enjoy them.

How Secrets was created..... I used a palette knife to create the "land" and it is heavily textured. Once that layer dried, I used a variety of brushes and a soft cloth to layer the greens that became the grass and to blend the blues and white into sky and clouds. Finally, I used tiny detail brushes to paint the crisp lines and to create that special package.

Secrets was painted on a rough wooden board primed with black gesso. There is a saw-tooth hanger on the back of this piece so that you can display it unframed if you like. The image continues around the sides of the board.
