What can I say about this one?  I think it pretty much speaks for itself.  If you watch much television, you might come to believe that everyone is frivolous and silly and desperate for attention.  But there are plenty of us in this world that prefer not to be the center of attention, that don't care to perform or entertain others.  Folks who are not boring or dull, just serious and comfortable with their own way of living.  This gorgeous little fur ball with the giant ears is just such a soul.  And I created her to bring warmth and humor and color to the home of someone out there who shares my love of serious hearts.

How Serious was created...  This is a traditional brush painting.  There are many layers of color built up over time.  The fine details were created with an 18/0 spotter brush.

(The image continues around the staple-free sides so you can display your new artwork unframed.  This is a digital photo, the scans above are more accurate.)

Serious was painted on a gallery-wrapped canvas with .75" staple-free sides.  This piece would look wonderful displayed unframed directly on the wall or sitting on a small display easel.  Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it required no matting or glass.
