MY REACTION:  This is one of my favorite pieces of the year, maybe of all time.  I love this painting.  It is sweet and pure and vulnerable and colorful and fun.  A unique little gem that inspires me each time I see it.

CONTENT:  Giving love.  Reaching out.  Sharing your heart.  Especially when you are small and maybe fragile.  Especially when you are wearing a festive hat!  What could be batter than that?

ARTISTIC CONCERNS:  The abstract expressionist work here is all finger-painting.  The generous rodent is a bit of traditional brushwork.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:  This piece is on a rigid canvas panel.  It can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.  It could also be displayed unframed on a small display easel.
