MY REACTION:  This is my favorite painting in ages.  This is one of those pieces that makes me feel like an artist.  Like I took a slice of my world out from inside me and put it on canvas to share with you.

CONTENT:  I think this pretty much sums up my view of all human endeavors.  We cannot create life.  We have never invented anything much, really.  Not compared with a tree or a dog or anything as miraculous as that.  What we do is move around the stuff God already made.  We stack rocks.

ARTISTIC CONCERNS:  This is a lush layered piece that began as a knife painting and then transitioned to a traditional brush piece.  It has glorious bold light.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:  This piece is on a rigid canvas panel.  It can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.  It could also be displayed unframed on a small display easel.
