I
think so many of the problems that ail us these days are related to
the way we live in crowded places with no open space and no fresh
air and no peace. Our environments make us depressed and
anxious and compulsive and strange. And I think a day spent in
a quiet place in nature is as likely to heal us as a session with a
therapist or counselor or coach. This soft peaceful landscape was created to bring a bit of warm sunlight and cleansing fresh air to your home or office. How Therapy was created..... This is a traditional brush painting made up of many many soft washes of color. It is much richer and more subtle in person. Therapy was painted on a thin masonite rectangle coated with an archival clay-based ground and then primed with black gesso. The edges have been painted and this piece looks lovely displayed unframed on a small clear plastic stand. I will include one of these stands for free if you request it at the time of payment. Otherwise, Therapy can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no glass or matting. Or it can be shown on a small decorative easel if you prefer.
