This is a really intriguing painting.  There is so much going on here.  And it kinda sneaks up on you.  I think this piece will stay interesting for a long time.

The words read:  I have hope.

Sometimes just one little flower is enough to turn my day around.

How This Flower was created...   This piece has brush painting and palette knife painting and great organic textures, too.  There is fine artist-grade stucco along the edges and around the sides of the canvas.  I completed the piece using tiny 18/0 detail brushes to paint the lovely flower and the words.

Please note that the outermost "border" of green has a slightly glossy sheen to it.

(The image and textures continue around the sides so you can display your new artwork unframed. This is a digital photo, the scans above are more accurate.)

Fine was painted on a 8" x 8" stretched canvas.  The sides of this piece DO have staples but they are covered by layers of texture and color and do not detract from the painting.  This piece looks lovely displayed as it is without framing either directly on the wall or on a small decorative easel or stand.  Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.

I have hope.
