ABOUT THIS PIECE:  Oh I love these two!  They have been in my head for a while and they are very happy to be out.  What a fun painting.  Fun to create and fun to view.  These rat athletes are racing a child's ski down a steep hill and they are very committed to this run.  I think it is a qualifying round.  Don't you wonder who they are competing against?

This piece has some lovely soft transitions and some nice line work, too.  It is a subtle, soft, pretty painting.

HOW IT WAS MADE:  This is a traditional brush painting.  It is on my all-time favorite surface to paint on.  These lightly textured masonite panels are divine to paint on.  They take color beautifully.

DISPLAY OPTIONS:  This piece could be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.  Or it would also display nicely just as it is, no framing needed, on a small easel or display stand.  I will include a clear plastic stand at no charge if you request one at the time of payment.
