This piece makes me smile.  I love those birds.  And I will let you decide what is going on in that lovely bare tree. 

This piece has nice nice textures and lush loose painting that feels like some weather treasure you might come across by accident in the woods or maybe in a back alley.

How this painting was created:   I used my fingers to push paint into those neat three-dimensional ridges that make up the tree.  Then I used my fingers and a variety of brushes to bring this piece to life.

These Things Happen was painted on a small square wooden plaque. The beveled sides of the board have been painted and this piece looks great on a small display stand or decorative easel.  Or, if you prefer, I would be happy to add a sawtooth hanger to the back so that you could display this original painting without framing directly on the wall.  I will include a small plastic display stand or a saw-toothed hanger to this piece at no charge if you like.  Just be sure to request the hanger or the display stand at the time of payment.  Also, if you feel this small piece will be handled often, please request a coat of protective varnish at the time of payment.  I would be happy to add a coat at no charge.
