(The image continues around the deep staple-free sides so you can display your new artwork unframed.  This is a digital photo.  The scans above are more accurate.)

I adore this image and I am sad that I was unable to capture the deep teals and soft shades of blue-green that float across this canvas.  The scans you see above do not really capture the bright warm comforting colors of this piece.  It is much more lovely in person.  That said, mostly I love this painting for the idea it conveys and the bold straight-forward presentation.  There is a single little flower in an oversized pot and below that are the words, "Sometimes I feel unqualified."

I am not going to go into detail about why I find that sentiment combined with that image to be so amusing and uplifting, but I am hopeful that this painting will find a home with someone out there who shares my delight in all things vulnerable and imperfect.

How Unqualified was created...  I used palette knives, my fingers, a soft cloth, and brushes of all sizes in order to put this painting together.

Unqualified was painted on a professional quality gallery-wrapped canvas with deep 1.5" sides.  This piece would look wonderful displayed unframed directly on the wall.  Or it can be shown on a small decorative easel.  Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it required no matting or glass.
