MY REACTION:  Oh, I love this piece!  It is unexpected.  Surprising color, so bright.  And that anonymous cat is so expressive.  I smile each time I see this piece.

ARTISTIC CONCERNS:  This is a traditional brush painting with many layers of color.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:  This piece is on a deep gallery stretched canvas with staple-free sides.  Rise Up would display nicely unframed either directly on the wall or on a small display stand or standing on edge.  If you prefer a frame, this piece could be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass.
