This lovely vibrant landscape is my first Crayola crayon drawing in ages. It is a fun, dreamlike image of a small tree resting peacefully atop soft rolling hills. And there is a path you can follow to that meditative spot on the hilltop. I am hopeful this colorful little gem will bring peace and inspiration to your home or office. How Winding Path was created..... Crayola crayon drawings are very labor intensive and sadly I cannot find the time to work in this media very often anymore. I regret that because crayons allow for a dreamy kind of color that is unique and offers universal appeal. Everyone loves crayons! This drawing was created entirely with crayons, there was no pencil sketching done first. And the color was layered and layered and layered to reach this luminous state of "stained-glass-like" warmth. Winding Path was created on a neutral toned piece of acid-free mat board. You will want to frame this piece to protect your investment. One affordable way to frame this unique drawing would be to purchase a standard-sized 11" x 14" frame at your local home store and then bring the frame and the drawing together to a custom-framer. Ask the framer to mat the drawing to fit the frame. That would give you a 4" mat border on all sides and would allow for a lovely presentation of Winding Path.
