Wait it Out

Acrylic on gallery stretched canvas

The words in this piece read:  The sun never leaves for too long.

Patience.  I have always struggled with the idea of patience.  Maturity helps some.  But I still get impatient much too quickly.  And I imagine the worst.  This beautiful luminous almost-apocolyptic landscape is a wonderful reminder to wait and be still.  The sun will find us again in time.  The world will be renewed.  We do not have to run around and jump through hoops to "fix" things all the time.  Sometimes we just have to be still and be patient and allow life to unfold.

This painting has wonderful rich color and unique texturing, too.

How this painting was created.....   I used brushes and palette knives to create this glowing landscape.

This image was painted on a gallery stretched canvas primed with black acrylic gesso.  The image continues around the staple-free sides.  This painting may be displayed unframed either directly on the wall or on a decorative display easel.  Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it required no matting or glass.

The sun never leaves for too long.
