This beautiful bird is a healing spirit.  She is a delicate premonition of good things to come.  I love this painting and I am equally excited by both the bird and the gorgeous expressionist painting from which she appeared.  The colors in this piece are wild and rich and fiery and fun.  Like a dance.  Or a whole bunch of really vibrant flowers thrown together in a big crazy bouquet.

The words in this piece read, "Trust what you know."  Because we already have the answers.  We just need the courage to believe.

I am hopeful this distinctive painting will brighten your home and keep you safe during difficult times.

How this original painting was created...  I used palette knives and a soft cloth to layer color across this canvas over the course of several days.  Once those many many layers were dry, I looked at the canvas and immediately found this bird in the existing patterns that appeared throughout the expressionist painting.  I used a variety of brushes to bring out just enough of the bird so that you could see and feel her as a real form.  But I left some of her spirit flying free in the paint.

You Know was painted on a large 11" x 14" professional quality gallery-wrapped canvas with deep 1.5" sides.  This piece would look wonderful displayed unframed directly on the wall.  Or it can be easily and affordably framed as it required no matting or glass.
