ABOUT THIS PIECE: Yay! I love Ziggy! This painting makes me so happy. What fun. The colors are rich and satisfying. And that beautiful detailed little dog is such a joy. The words in this one are fun, too. They read: Resistance is futile. Because how could anyone NOT fall in love with that adorable face? Ziggy is a cockapoo that lives in my neighborhood. I first met him when he was just a baby. I have never wanted human children, but a few years back my biological clock started ticking for puppies. I go wacky for puppies. And I have been enamored of Ziggy since our first meeting. The words suit Ziggy, too, because he is clearly loved and adored at home and he assumes everyone everywhere will love him as well. I hope this warm happy image will bring joy to the homes of other dog devotees out there. (It reproduces beautifully as a giclee print.) HOW THIS PAINTING WAS MADE: I used palette knives and brushes to create this fun expressive piece. DISPLAY OPTIONS: This piece could be easily and affordably framed as it requires no matting or glass. Or it would also display nicely sitting on a small decorative easel or stand just as it is, no framing needed. I will include a small plastic stand for free if you request one at the time of payment.
