About this painting: Two birds. Deep rich earthy colors. A sense of urgency. One friend off to help another? One lover eager to resolve a conflict with his mate? I cannot say what is occurring between these birds. But I do feel the pull between them. I really really love the layers of organic color in this painting. So satisfying! Oh. And the light delicate lines of the birds. This is one of my favorite new pieces. I hope it speaks to some fellow bird lover out there. Or just to someone who enjoys ripe color. This was created on a wooden piece. There is a hardwood panel raised up in the center. Mounted on a roughly texture wood composite backing panel. This painting has a sawtooth hanger on the back and is ready for display as it is without framing.
