About this painting: What looks like death - leaves falling, bare branches, frozen ground - is merely an essential period of dormancy. Resting. Regrouping for a new onslaught of life and living. We all need to lose our leaves now and then. We all need to freeze up and rest. This painting is a reminder to accept your dormant days as gifts. Don't fight it. Rest.
