About this painting: Anyone from a cold climate knows about that time when the snow has mostly melted (though you may still get flurries in the air on cold days) and the world is a combination of buds about to pop with new growth and dirty brown grit left over from times past. When the world is all amber tones and muddy spots but you know the green is coming, don't you? Sometimes my life feels just like that. You do not have to be from a cold climate place to know that feeling. When everything is dirty and dull but you know rain will come and you know new things will grow. You know the time of hibernation has passed and better days are just around the corner. This piece is from the (In Motion) series.
