I am a big chicken. And while I can see the value of facing your fears and all that new age mental health stuff, I also think there is a time for fighting fears and a time fore letting fears be. Rest is important. Acceptance.

About this painting: This image is titled, "Please Let Sleeping Chickens Lie". This is an acrylic painting on a gallery stretched canvas. Measuring approximately 4" x 12". These sweet chickens are primarily finger-paintings. The abstract expressionist painting behind them is mostly knife work. An interesting note: White has become a central component in many of the paintings I have created since I moved out to the country. I am not sure what that means, I just think it is interesting.
