About this painting: I love this piece. The layers. The clarity. That precious look. Humans seem to spend much of our lives figuring out who we are. And then there is a time of becoming more ourselves. And, if we are lucky, finally a time of being ourselves without self-conscious inhibitions and self-imposed punishment. Just being. The colors in this painting are richer in person than they appear online.
