About this painting:  I love this painting.  It makes me smile and laugh each time I see it.  I built a whole new website for my art, to give me room.  So I could create edgier stuff.  And here I have just painted the cutesiest, sweetest image of my career, maybe.  And I love it!  I refuse to apologize for this adorable House of Love.

Aside from the brazen sweetness of the subject matter, this piece also has some nice loose expressive painting going on.  Lovely layers.  I hope it brings a bit of winter magic to some fellow romantic out there.

(Worth noting:  I live in the warmest most loving home of my life right now.  Inhabited by me, Awful Waffle the cat, and The Three Stooges, my fabulous mutt dogs.  So this painting is not just meant for couples!  Yes, I realize there is an entirely different meaning for Staying Warm if you are in a relationship.  I am just saying that is not the only interpretation.)
